About James Building

James is a 6,900 square foot, 2-story, wood frame structure. It is sided with red brick and stone with white wood trim. The roof is black asphalt shingles.

James was built in 1929. It is a Georgian Revival style structure designed by architects William Scopes and Maurice Feustmann of Saranac Lake, NY. Current use is for storage. It is in fair condition. It was originally built for housing physicians and medical staff and named the James Memorial Staff building.
