About Dodd Building
Dodd is a 21,706 square foot, 3-story, wood frame structure. It is sided with brown wood shingles with white trim. The roof is black asphalt shingles.
Dodd was constructed in 1896 and designed by architect J. Lawrence Aspinwall (cousin of Dr. Trudeau) for Renwick, Aspinwall and Owen of NY. It is currently used for storage. It is in fair condition. It was originally constructed as the main administration building. In 1904 the Post Office for Trudeau, NY was located in the Dodd Building.
